New Delhi, Dec 30 (IANS) Danny Boyle's thrilling biopic '127 Hours', about a rock climber, is going to release in India Jan 28.
Having already created a stir across the festival circuit, the biopic has also bagged three nominations at the forthcoming 68th Annual Golden Globes awards including Best Score for Indian music maestro A.R. Rahman, best actor (Drama) and best screenplay.
Titled BLACK THIRST, the film, directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud known for ENEMY AT THE GATES and SEVEN YEARS IN TIBET, is the story of how America, in pursuit of oil, started targeting the Gulf as early as 1920.
SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE actress Freida Pinto has been cast opposite Anthony Hopkins in Woody Allen's YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER that is set to release in the coming months.
Russhita reveals, "I play Tulsi, an Indian girl, in EAT PRAY LOVE that has Julia Roberts in the lead. We shot for a month in India last year. We actually mopped the floor and recited Sanskrit shlokas together. In fact I was impressed with Julia's skills to recite the Sanskrit shlokas with utmost precision."
According to the latest reports, EXPENDABLES has topped the US box office weekend collection, grossing higher than Julia Robert's EAT, PRAY, LOVE. While Julia's film raked in USD 23.7 million in the opening weekend, the action flick brought in USD 35 million.
